Accommodation
Currently, there are 4 lodges offering 27 beds between them, and a campsite.
Each lodge is unique in design and atmosphere, offering visitors a chance to relax and unwind in peaceful and private surroundings. The lodges are individually situated along the beautiful Mlawula River.
Kitchens are fully equipped for self catering, and the comfortable living areas, spacious verandas, and wooden decks are perfect for enjoying the natural environment. Each lodge has a braai / barbecue area supplied with firewood; fridge / freezer, stove, skottle and all cutlery and crockery are provided. Two of the lodges have private swimming pools.
The campsite is basic but comfortable - designed for campers looking for simplicity and peace in the African bush. A wood-fired donkey boiler provides hot showers. Reed bomas with braai/barbecue grids and a water tap add to the comfort.
Mbuluzi Tented Lodge
A lovely Tented Lodge situated on the banks of the Mlawula River, featuring a comfortable thatched kitchen and lounge area with large veranda and a swimming pool. Three luxury canvas rooms with en-suite bathrooms make this lodge unique.
Singwe Lodge
Singwe Lodge has four double rooms with en suite bathrooms. With accommodation for up to eight guests, Singwe Lodge is perfect for a larger group. A swimming pool adjoins the large main veranda, overlooking a confluence of two streams.
Mphangele Lodge
Mphangele Lodge has two double rooms with en suite bathrooms, and a small single room. Accommodating up to five people, this lodge has an intimate atmosphere.
Nkhankanka Lodge
Named after the Crested Guinea fowl, Nkhankanka Lodge has four double rooms. Accommodating up to eight guests, this lodge is perfect for a family group.
Campsite
A rustic campsite overlooking rapids in the Mbuluzi River. A closely guarded secret kept by those that appreciate Africa un-spoilt.
